What W.I.T.S Does For Your Family
๐ฑ Cuts down screen time without a fight
Kids today spend hours staring at tablets and phones. You know it's too much, but taking the screen away usually starts a fight. W.I.T.S gives them something else to play, something they actually enjoy. Most parents tell us their kids forget the iPad exists once a round starts.
๐ Helps your child get better at English
Building proper sentences, using grammar correctly, learning new words. These are skills kids need at school, and most struggle with them. W.I.T.S gives your child sentence-building practice every time they play. They get better at English without sitting through another worksheet.
๐ฒ Gives you something fun to do at home
Rainy days, long weekends, holiday breaks. Kids get bored fast, and most board games take too long to set up or learn. W.I.T.S takes 30 seconds to start and rounds last about a minute. Easy for a 7-year-old, fun enough that adults want to keep playing.
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ง Brings the whole family back to one table
Everyone is in the same house but glued to different screens. W.I.T.S works for ages 7 to adult, so kids, parents, teens, and grandparents can all play together on the same level. The kind of evening you used to have, back at the dinner table.
What's in the Box
Everything you need for game night. No batteries, no apps, no setup hassle.
- Blue Vowel Cards for your sentence starters
- Green Consonant Cards for your building blocks
- Red Action Cards for surprise sentence twists
- Steal Cards to take points from other players
- 4 Hourglass Timers (15, 30, 45, 60 seconds)
- 1 Dice that decides your letters and your time
How to Play
One roll of the dice runs the whole turn. Rules are simple, fun starts in seconds.
Roll the dice
The number you roll decides two things at once. It tells you how many consonant cards to draw and how much time you get to play your turn.
Draw your cards
Pick up the consonant cards your dice roll tells you to. Then draw one vowel card. Then flip one Action card for a twist.
Flip the timer and build
Turn all your letter cards face up. The timer starts. Now build a real sentence where each word starts with one of your letters.
Say it before time runs out
Say "What is the sentence?" out loud, then say it. The others check if it's valid. If yes, you score the points on your cards.
The Steal Twist
If you fail to make a sentence in time, or your sentence isn't accepted, any opponent can play a Steal card. They get 15 seconds to try to build a sentence with your letters. If they pull it off, they steal your points. If they fail, points get deducted from their score. High risk, high reward.
Here's One Round in Action
An example of how a single turn plays out at your table.
She rolls a 3. That means 3 consonant cards and 45 seconds on the timer.
Consonants: B, R, T. Vowel: A. Action card says "make it a question."
Sarah has 45 seconds. She needs a question where each word starts with A, B, R, T.
Valid sentence. It's a question. Uses A, B, R, T in order. Time's up with seconds to spare.
She earns the points printed on each of her cards. Next player rolls. Game keeps moving.
